Last chance to join us for October plank challenge. 3 classes for 30 minutes for 4 weeks.
We begin by breaking down the anatomy of the hand, understanding what bringing weight into your hands means. How to do so safely. Understanding the anatomy of the core, engaging bandhas (don’t fear this). Hasta bandha in the hands and Uddiyana bandha in the centre body. We will look at the Sushumna, the central line of the body.
This foundational pose is key to a great and safe yoga practice. Watch your body grow stronger, your focus increase and your love of yoga as it grows and grows.
Week 1 – forearm plank, engage all the parts of the body to build strength
Week 2 – side plank variations, plank holds
Week 3 – Dipping into that new strength, full plank
Week 4 – reverse plank and bringing it all together
