The fiery sun to balance last week’s moon energy

We are blessed with this good weather, it is a gift from Mother Nature. Giving us this sun energy which I liken to prana, vital energy to help shift last week’s moon’s phase of being. Last week was all about cultivating the moon’s soothing lunar energy. Replenishing our vital energy through meditation and lunar practice. This week, however presents sun, solar plexus energy. The fiery sun to balance last week’s moon energy. Bright mornings, big sunny skies and more movement in our practice. It is an opportunity to occupy your whole body in your practice.

What will that look like? Bigger movements in your Āsana, spreading your wings wide. Opening your heart, your body and your soul to a joyous expression of each movement. A dance if you like.

Join me on the mat this week –

Tuesday 9am, via Zoom the class to build strength. Join me to work through Chataranga, some arm balances & inversions. All done safely & playfully in the comfort of your home.

Wednesday 7.30pm, Seapoint Yoga & Dip. Join me for a Yoga overlooking the water and an optional dip in high tide.

Thursday 7pm, via Zoom. WindDown Yoga, the reward to yourself after a long and busy week to allow the body to relax, to open out in gentle movement and deep holds.

Friday 8am, Dun Laoghaire Yoga by the boats. Beside the light headquarters, join me for a sun facing Surya class.

Saturday 9am, via Zoom. Vinyasa class

Saturday 10.15am, Park Yoga. Vinyasa facing the sun. Open to all levels.

And finally Retreat news…

Last October I was due to hold a retreat which was cancelled due to COVID. This retreat was sold out and those people are coming on Retreat with me in June. However I can now offer 2 extra places out to those who wish to join me for a weekend of Yoga, forest & sunrise meditation, vegan food, forest bathing, walks, a journalling workshop and the most luxurious accomodation. There will be plenty of space and time to be alone, to create a practice of sustenance. Everything is optional, you do as little or as much as you need. This Retreat takes place June 18th- 20th.
