November Gathering, Sunday November 19th, Embrace the Darkness

Each workshop includes movement, breathwork and meditation.

Darkness is where potential resides. Join me Sunday November 19th for the 2nd part of this series to prepare for the colder, darker months ahead. Sitting with and feeling into what it is to embrace darkenss through Asana practice, journalling, speaking words of praise and love to the darkness. Ever feel that fear of the unknown, what exactly is it we fear when we say we are afraid of the dark? It is a normal part of every day and yet we fear it still. Understanding that so much growth happens in the dark times invites us to know we are still growing, yet under the surface.

Taking time to understand so much happens when we allow ourselves to bathe in darkness, deepening your experience of being alive. Consciously and creatively unlocking the potential of your life.

The First Part – Shedding

Join me Sunday October 22nd to prepare for the colder, darker months ahead. When we look around we see the natural process of shedding happening in nature. This is exactly what happens within you but you may not notice. We shed to prepare for the new, peeling away, losing layers of what we no longer need. Shedding to prepare for and welcome in the new.

Sitting with and feeling into what needs to be released through Asana practice, journalling, shedding ritual and tea. This will be a powerful workshop where you can dive into the depths of your life, ask the hard questions of who you are and who you wish to be. Write it down, feel into your words, they are of you. We live our lives with ideas about our limited self beliefs, let these go. Your words are powerful. Allow the crap to be released, burn it.

We will then enjoy powerful Hawthorne tea together by candlelight. A closing meditation and ritual.

Winter Gathering, Fumbally Stables (SOLD OUT)

Event Details
04/12/2022Fumbally Stables

Join me Sunday December 04th as we embark on a journey towards the Winter solstice. December can be such a busy time for us all. We can find ourselves being pulled in so many ways. This day is an offering to slow down. We will begin with a yoga class lead by Chris Molloy. The class will be a Bhakti class filled with devotion for yourself. An offering of love and gratitude for the year that has passed and welcoming the light of the year ahead. The space will be there for you to rest, restore and recharge. Being together, practicing yoga together, supporting one another, showing up for every woman in the room.

Following this will be a Cacao ceremony lead by Nicky Halliday. Nicky discovered ceremonial cacao in Costa Rica over 4 years ago and developed a beautiful relationship with this incredible heart opening medicine. Her mission was to spread the word in Ireland when she returned. She has now shared cacao with over a thousand people in Ireland and around the globe. She believes cacao helps us to connect deeper to ourselves and the world around us. Helping to awaken our intuition, our creative essence and our inner healers. “To live with an open heart is a brave thing to do, and mama cacao facilitates this journey so beautifully”.

After our time with Yoga & Cacao we will then journal. Journalling is a way of connecting to what really lies within you. At this time of year it’s a way of checking in with how your year has been and maybe deciding how you will move into the New year. It can be about asking inner questions and having the time to hear the answers. The combination of yoga, Cacao and journalling allows you to really tap in to what lies ahead for you for the new year.

Then Lisa Davies (who I am so happy to work with again) will nourish us with delicious vegetarian seasonal food. Lisa, originally from Wales, moved to Ireland via the US about five years ago. She loves cooking and trained at the French Culinary Institute in NYC and then started a cookery school in Montclair, NJ. She teaches cooking at Airfield Estate and also does private cooking classes. She is a wonderfully talented cook, whose food is seasoned with love and warmth true to her personality and love of sharing her knowledge.

Testimonials

I was so sad and sorry when my last yoga teacher decided to move home to Italy. I thought I would never find a better teacher & then… I found Chris. She delivers a wonderfully unique class which is a marriage of movement and breath. Her class delivers a complete workout for whatever level you’re at, whilst being easy on the body and calming the mind. I look forward to every class and have never felt stronger or better.

C. Horgan

Christine conveys an immense passion for yoga. Her energy is palpable. She also has a discerning understanding of how the body works when practicing yoga. I really enjoy her classes which leave me feeling full of positivity!

D. O’Reilly

Christine is a great yoga teacher and I recommend you give her a go.  She is very spiritual but her love of family and her surroundings come through clearly in her teaching - I have wished so many times to be with her in Dublin on the beach, in the studio, in the park! I have loved her classes via Zoom and her early morning Rise and Shine class has been a fantastic start to my day.  She is very knowledgeable and clearly puts a lot into planning each month and each week. Her classes are well prepared and she takes time to explain positions with variations too so that it is suitable for many levels. Having practised with her for 6 months, she keeps her practice interesting with different themes so that no 2 classes are completely the same.  I am loving my yoga journey with her and look forward to it continuing for many years.

N. Roberts

Absolutely love Chris’s yoga classes. It has become a staple part of my week to keep my mind clear and my body right. Chris is a fantastic teacher and I especially enjoy her meditation and reflections during class. Chris herself is such a fantastic person both inside and out and her light is infectious!
