Self Care – an Invitation to UnWind

Event Details
31/01/2021Zoom

We can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed at the moment, what’s going on in the world, stress, disrupted sleep patterns, anxiety, our kids, our parents our grandparents, everything is a bit all over the place right?

So this Sunday 11-12.30pm Grainne Hughes & myself are offering you a place to move out of this heightened state of living. Create a space for yourself to access genuine rest & acts of self care.

We will begin with a deeply restorative yoga practice, to slow down the stress responses. Inviting stillness & calmness into your life. We will then do a Pranayama (breath work) practice to invoke calm. After this the magic of relaxation should unfold you to prepare for lying down and open up to further healing with self massage.

Grainne will then guide you through the meridian, energy points of the body, followed by a sensuous self massage.

We will also offer a recipe for red lentil soup which will nourish you further. Book your ticket here

There will be time for Q&A at the end.

The Joy of Colour

Event Details
24/01/2021Zoom

Sunday 24th January 11am – 12.30pm via Zoom.

As we move towards Spring can celebrate the Joy of Colour, colour to support your Wellbeing. It is well known that colour affects our moods, emotions and state of mind. Jung stated “Colour is the key to subconscious.” We can understand different things about ourselves through our colour choices, our subconscious mind helps to guide us through colour. We also communicate different messages, feelings and thoughts to others with our choice of colour, in our clothing and homes.

Colour unveils our beauty, talents, and strengths by balancing our energies and sharpening our minds. It opens us up to our inner world, which leads the way to living a life full of love, happiness and grace. Colour helps us understand who we truly are, the talents and abilities we have deep inside of us, and the power we hold inside to overcome life’s challenges.

Colour can also release resentment, fear, anger, frustration, self-pity, depression and the past encouraging us to take back our power and acknowledge our innate deeply held wisdom. This is one of the main reasons colour and yoga create a brilliant mix. As yoga works the body and challenges the mind, colour stimulates your energy.

Want to know more? Then join Personal Stylist & colour enthusiast Aoife Dunican & Yoga teacher Chris Molloy on a journey through colour, how to embrace colour in your life & how it can transform your perspective of everything around you. Aoife will talk you through the power of colour, Chris will lead a colour meditation & yoga practice. Tickets are €25 each available here.

There will be time for Q&A at the end.

Testimonials

I was so sad and sorry when my last yoga teacher decided to move home to Italy. I thought I would never find a better teacher & then… I found Chris. She delivers a wonderfully unique class which is a marriage of movement and breath. Her class delivers a complete workout for whatever level you’re at, whilst being easy on the body and calming the mind. I look forward to every class and have never felt stronger or better.

C. Horgan

Christine conveys an immense passion for yoga. Her energy is palpable. She also has a discerning understanding of how the body works when practicing yoga. I really enjoy her classes which leave me feeling full of positivity!

D. O’Reilly

Christine is a great yoga teacher and I recommend you give her a go.  She is very spiritual but her love of family and her surroundings come through clearly in her teaching - I have wished so many times to be with her in Dublin on the beach, in the studio, in the park! I have loved her classes via Zoom and her early morning Rise and Shine class has been a fantastic start to my day.  She is very knowledgeable and clearly puts a lot into planning each month and each week. Her classes are well prepared and she takes time to explain positions with variations too so that it is suitable for many levels. Having practised with her for 6 months, she keeps her practice interesting with different themes so that no 2 classes are completely the same.  I am loving my yoga journey with her and look forward to it continuing for many years.

N. Roberts

Absolutely love Chris’s yoga classes. It has become a staple part of my week to keep my mind clear and my body right. Chris is a fantastic teacher and I especially enjoy her meditation and reflections during class. Chris herself is such a fantastic person both inside and out and her light is infectious!
